Fabricator - UK Skilled Worker Visa
We are currently recruiting a
Fabricator to join a well-established commercial vehicle manufacturing and engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabricator looking for a permanent position with long-term career development in a professional manufacturing environment.

Salary: £43,000 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role As a
Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating commercial vehicle bodies, including concrete mixers, crane bodies, plant bodies, recovery bodies and trailers. Working as part of an experienced production team, you will carry out MIG welding, cutting, shaping and assembly work while ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Fabricate commercial vehicle bodies, including concrete mixers, crane bodies, plant bodies, recovery bodies and trailers.
- Carry out MIG welding, cutting, shaping and assembly work.
- Set up, operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- Liaise with the Engineering team regarding build requirements and design modifications.
- Work to production schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Carry out final quality inspections to ensure completed work meets company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For - Previous experience in a similar fabrication role.
- Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
